We enjoyed the branding concept stage best. Being that we’re designers & have our own creative input on our image, it was fun to see the fresh take on our new logo and see that develop from rough concepts, colors & ideas to the final package.
Simply taking a cursory look at the amount of visuals in books or newspapers compared to 40 years ago, it’s clear to see that, enabled by cost-reducing technology, visuals are far more prevalent today. Even looking at the relatively recent digital world, we see change. Websites are more visual than a decade ago. In social media, the balance has tilted away from text and towards visuals. While words are still vital for communication, visuals are very quickly catching up.
